I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, has taken it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. The photo will have been taken that day, and each day will be a different person. Some will be in the studio, some will be in the wild. Hopefully they will all be interesting.
FYI, I am NOT Our365portraits.com who places Craigslist ads looking for photographers. I'm pretty sure they give an email address to reply to, and it's not mine. Thanks.

ohmigod she had it! so much for the Demi Moore shot! ;-) huge congratulations, Renee and Neil - what a cute little baby. and what a fabulous portrait. I love the way the focus is on her.

The look on Renee's face perfectly captures the feeling I had when my son was born nine years ago. Priceless. I also find it interesting that the focus is on Mom instead of the baby. That is opposite to most pictures of newborns where the parents seem to disappear. This is just beautiful.

Perfect in every way! You know you're getting out in the world when someone calls and says "So, I'm having a kid, will you photograph it as soon as it's born?" Well done, Bill, as always.

You've captured motherhood, not infancy...what a rare choice. It's so easy to read into the expression in these portraits -- is this excitement mixed with apprehension, or is she just a nervous photography subject? Whichever it is, it's a lovely image of a fleeting, seemingly vulnerable moment.

oh, this is lovely!!! i absolutely adore the expression on her face that you've captured here! how wonderful that you could be a part of this. truly a miracle. and i love the lighting you used. makes it seem like such the intimate moment between mother and child that it is. love it.

wow, great shot bill. i agree with the comments -- what a fantastic, ambiguous look on the subject's face.

Ok, I want to look this beautiful 10 hours into my motherhood! Great photo Bill! The light is awesome and the cutie lil baby blurred, adds so much peacefulness to this photo. I love it.

That's a freakin' awesome portrait -- full of life (literally) and so casual.

Outstanding. Who catches "the glow?" People speak of it and every time I've ever looked to see, it's always been a pale shade of exhausted queasy green. Not this. This is the famous glow that people talk about. I can see it now. You caught "the glow" man. This rules. Absolute beauty.
