A brave shot. It must have been difficult to get some texture/contrast from a subject dressed all in black in low light conditions. Love the shoes.

With this portrait I feel you have taken me to another century, to a Parisien park. I remember seeing my French grandparent's portraits from the late 19th century, dressed just like that...and with the cane

I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, took it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007.
