Probably the best i've seen you do; polaroids are beautiful. Also, nice contrast, however, the depth of field is a little mixed; the lips would be just as in focus as the eyes since they are at the same depth. Still a little too shopped, i'm sure the original looks fine as-is.

I really like this one, emphasis on really.

Amanda Merten still is and always will be the love of my life.

i think i've seen this girl in real life.. if it is the same girl then i can tell you that although this picture is excellent it hardly does her justice.. she walks with a swagger that would catch the eye of both men and women alike. she has fantastic style. a terrific smile. and her butt is out of this world. even though ive never talked to her sometimes i think i might love her. shes dangerous.

I like this one. The eyes caught me. Then I looked closer. Did you draw those lines on the eyes or did she? The focus plane is on the front of the neck based on the resolution of the chain links. That puts the nose and lips out of focus and distracts. With those comments, this is a really good portrait.
- John Andrews

what a knockout! those eyes could be the death of me.

she looks like a wise old soul trapped in a babe's body

I'm assuming for th etime being that this is from a large format shot (the blur above and below implies tilting the lens, and the frames obviously imply large format polaroids). It seems like film, especially in the larger formats, is making a comeback. It's deliberate, enjoyable, and there's just some unquantifiable quality about it. Character, maybe. I'm currently waiting on a few 4x5 shots to get processed, and then if they turn out well, I'm going to shoot a lot more of that stuff. Any big tips on how to improve my luck?

Mona Lisa in polar hoodie ... May lack the half-smile ... Really impressive still ...

I agree, this could be your best Polaroid. I have just one 'but' - her lips seem to be almost non existent. Was she really pale when taking this photo? or is it the light? post-production? DOF? What makes her lips so blurry? I really like her eyes, but maybe this light was too harsh? Other than that, really good job.

I liked the use of soft focus instead of the "hyper-realism" for a change.

I love it, I don't think there is a single thing wrong with it. So what if the lips aren't in perfect focus, that's not the striking part of this picture. Her amazing eyes, that's what we should focus on. I love your style, how you capture your subjects' style.
- Leese

yes. yes. yes. this works.

A look that says "If I love you ,your world will be heaven. If I hate you, your world will be a living hell." A great portrait of a stunning spirit.
