I'm Bill Wadman, a New York-based photographer who after completing my first 365 Project, and then a weekly 52 Project, has taken it upon myself to shoot and post one portrait every day of 2007. The photo will have been taken that day, and each day will be a different person. Some will be in the studio, some will be in the wild. Hopefully they will all be interesting.
FYI, I am NOT Our365portraits.com who places Craigslist ads looking for photographers. I'm pretty sure they give an email address to reply to, and it's not mine. Thanks.

BTW, those tall brown things with greeny yellow bushy things on top are called T-R-E-E-S.
YAAAAAY! Oh, this is so exciting! Happy people come from California.

Another beautiful portrait Bill. It's so great to see someone in their 80s out happy and hiking around. Activity truly does keep you young. Part of why I plan on photowalking the rest of my life is so that when I'm 80 I can be active and happy like Betty would appear to be.

I love it! What an inspiration she is! And the photo is killer, too.

I love how joyful Betty looks... enraptured even. I hope that if and when I ever get that old I can be that happy.

She has got to be the coolest octogenarian I've ever encountered in my life. :]

Good! I'm smiling. She loves life. I can see it in the image. How nice to see something other than the ugly big city in the background. I'm glad you are getting away from NY for a while.

One of your best and one of my favorites - I keep coming back to it every day. I do not know Betty, unfortunately, but this incredible portrait brings out her obvious love of life and spirit of adventure - someone who truly knows it is not the destination, but the journey, that matters most! You make her portrait come to life!
