Carole Simms D'Agostino - Puppeteer / Studio
April 26, 2007
Dude, I really like this one. I feel like I want to get to know her and possibly some of her friends (that is, her puppets). Really nice work Bill. This reminds me of a photographers self-portrait my teacher once showed me and it included every tool he used as an artist. There was a really old typewriter, fountain pen, medium & large format camera, scissors, his glasses, etc, all laid out on an open wood table in his studio. I love it when objects are involved in portraits. Seriously, nice job.

Because there is no background, you complety focus on the person and her puppet. Nice job, I love it.

WOW... I love everything about this portrait - the colors are amazing, her expression and pose is so natural, just as if she was performing. Really great job Bill.

Makes me want to know what the puppet is saying to her. Excellent!

Kudos! This is a fabulously capricious portrait that really (I think, I hope!) shows the subject's personality. Wonderful!
